Privacy

In short, in human language. Not a complete legal document yet — that comes with the public launch — but this is how we’ve worked from day one.

What we collect

What you give us: your check-ins (mood, energy, written notes) and your email address for signing in. If you use “Attune”, also the values derived from your pulse (see below).

Pulse measurement (Attune)

“Attune” is optional. When you use it, the app measures your pulse by holding a finger over the rear camera (the color shift in your fingertip). Pulse is health data, so we ask for a separate consent, once, before the first measurement.

  • We keep only derived values (pulse, an accuracy score). No image or video is ever saved — processing happens on your phone; nothing the camera sees leaves it.
  • Pulse is used only as an accuracy reference (how well you sense your own body). We don’t infer emotions from it.
  • You can withdraw consent anytime by deleting your data.

What we DON’T do

  • No emotional biometrics — we don’t analyze your voice or face, and we don’t infer emotions from your pulse. The only emotions in the system are the ones you report or that come from text you wrote yourself.
  • No diagnoses — Inner Human is not a medical tool and doesn’t use clinical language.
  • We don’t sell your data. We don’t use it for advertising.

The AI

The observations in your Mirror are generated by an AI model that receives your data only at processing time, ephemerally — with no retention at the AI provider. Every observation shows you which check-ins it’s based on.

Your data is yours

You can export everything (JSON) and delete your data anytime, right from the app. Deletion is real deletion, not hiding. Your data is stored in the EU.
